Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers worked at a supermarket and her dad Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker family. Goulding's older sister Isabel and her younger sister Jordan are all siblings. Alex is her brother. Alex his brother is a bassist and is part of a Hereford group. When she was young she was surrounded by her mom who advised her to be an artist. When she reached the age of nine old she began learning the clarinet.
